Matthew Matt James was conceived in North Carolina, on the 5th of December, 1991. Matthew Matt James is the child of Manny James along with Patty James of mixed race. Then the following year, he attended Wake Forest University in order to earn a Bachelor's degree in Science degree in Economics. James was initially known for his role as The Bachelorette's reality TV star. James was picked in the year 2020 as the new bachelor on The Bachelor season 25, being the show's first African American male star. The show premiered later in the year. James is a perfect fit to be the role because he has an appealing, well-rounded, and tall personality. Rachael krkconnell was chosen to be his partner for the season. James teamed up with famous dancing star Arnold in 2021 and competed in the 30th season of Dancing with the Stars. James and Arnold placed 12th on the show.
